The Cine-Digitar projection lenses and anamorphic attachments are the preferred choice in digital cinemas and other fixed installations worldwide. Now, with the Cine-Digitar 1.33x Anamorphic Lens, we enable home theatre owners to maximize the performance of HD 1080p front-projection systems and bring a true cinema experience into the home. The Cine-Digitar 1.33x Anamorphic Lens is built to the same high standards that have made Schneider projection lenses world-renowned for superior sharpness, highly efficient light transmission and true color rendition. No wonder ProjectorCentral recently proclaimed “This lens is optically perfect” after testing our 1.33x Anamorphic Lens.

The Cine-Digitar Anamorphic 1.33x Lens enables digital home theatre owners to achieve incredible full-screen Cinemascope® images and eliminate “letterboxing”. Letterboxing refers to the black bars that appear above and below the image when a 16:9 projector with a conventional lens projects a Cinemascope® movie. The Cine-Digitar Anamorphic Lens enables 16:9 aspect ratio digital projectors to create full-screen 2.35:1 (Cinema-
scope®) images on super-wide format home theatre screens. With all of the projector’s pixels being used, the black bars are eliminated and the resulting image fills the full height and width of the screen with images of superior brightness and maximum resolution.

A Projector Minimum Throw Ratios Chart” will help to determine the optimal projector placement of the Cine-Digitar Anamorphic Lens in any room.
