High-performance lens attachments
for anamorphic image widening

These two anamorphic lens attachments with known good imaging performance and precise, lockable focus are now even easier to use with their extended 70.65 mm tube. The WA-Cinelux Anamorphic widens the projection horizontally by a factor of 2 and the Tele-Cinelux Anamorphic compresses it vertically by a factor of 0.5, which corresponds to a hori-zontal widening by a factor of 2 with a simultaneously doubled focal length.

The WA-Cinelux Anamorphic 2x can be combined with lenses from a focal length of 45 mm on principle; however, the more favorably priced and more compact anamorphic lens combinations ES-Cinelux Anamorphic 2x and Cinelux Première Anamorphic 2x are available for focal lengths from 42.5 to 100 mm. The WA-Cinelux Anamorphic attachment is therefore specifically recommended for lenses from 100 to 180 mm.

The Tele-Cinelux Anamorphic 0.5x is the ideal solution for large projec-tion distances. It can be used with extension tubes on lenses from 65 mm (effectively 130 mm then). If a Cinemascope® combination with an effective focal length of 220 mm were, for instance, required to bridge a larger projection dis-tance, the combination of the Tele-Cinelux Anamorphic 0.5x with a 110 mm base lens would produce exactly the desired projection result.
