Ultimate wide-angle systems for the professional digital photography:
APO-DIGITAR 5.6 / 24 XL- 100 ° und APO-DIGITAR 5.6 / 35 L- 88 °

The new extreme wide-angle systems Apo-Digitar 5.6/24 XL-100° for an image circle of 60 mm and Apo-Digitar 5.6/35 L-88° for an image circle of 70 mm open up completely new possibilities for the user of digital photography with movable cameras. Due to the camera technological possibility to do without a long fl ange focal distance, the lenses show besides the remarkable high resolution a low distortion (less than 0.8%) and extremely slight lateral chromatic aberrations. Therefore, they are exceptionally suitable for high-resolution sensors (chips) with small pixel size and low pixel distance and meet the high demands of professional advertising studios. To counteract the edge light loss, center fi lters of a two-stops correction are intended.

At Photokina 2002 these lenses will be introduced for the following camera systems:

Linhof M 679
Plaubel PL 69D
SINAR P

The lenses will be equipped with the also new SCHNEIDER-ELECTRONIC-SHUTTER 0 which can be directly controlled by the current eyelike digital backs of Jenoptik through the menu of the taking software without any additional control device.
