Dichroitic filters function on the basis of interference in
connection with multiple reflections of thin dielectric layers which
have been applied by a vacuum-vaporization process. Filters of this
kind are frequently used in many different kinds of technical
applications. Their effect on the radiation penetrating
them is, among other things, represented by the spectral
transmission t [%] as a function of the wave-length l [nm].
Customs coatings on request. Please send us your
specification. As a description
of the transmission
characteristics, we recommend ISO 9211-2. Below you can see
some example curves. Your inquiries: industrie@schneiderkreuznach.com
